Lefevres was established by Ellen  Lefevre. Ellen passed the final examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1992, gaining fourth place in the Thames Valley area. In 1994, she  passed the final examinations of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, qualifying with distinction.
